Did you know more than half of parents fear their child being contacted online by a stranger? In this informative workshop, we look at current research into gaming systems, internet activities, and online communities. We guarantee you will leave this workshop not only with a working knowledge of the web culture but also with the specific steps you can take as a parent to safeguard your home and child's life. We will also equip you to talk about a touchy subject as Internet pornography, cyber bullying, online integrity, and much more.
Please join us on Saturday, August 26th as Brian Housman equips families with practical tools to better prepare us to navigate the digital worlds of our children and students. We will begin at 5:30 with dinner, dessert and coffee in the fellowship hall and will then transition to the Warehouse from 7:00-9:00 to hear from Brian Housman. The cost of the event will be $15 per person or $25 per couple. Childcare up to 5th Grade, with meal provided with reservation ($5/family).
